Adella Liebenow Wotherspoon
Both the youngest and oldest survivor of the General Slocum disaster of 1904. The sinking of General Slocum was deadliest disaster in NYC till Sept 11th. It is the subject of many books and videos.
Adella, known as Tiby, lived in Watchung most of her life. She was an active member of the Watchung historical committee.

Adella contributed to the The New-York Historical Society collection of artifacts related to the event and its aftermath, including scrapbooks, the program for the outing, photographs and letters from survivors. Wootherspoon remembers (2:57-3:18) in 2017.
